Kiwi kids need your help.
The hearing health of around 2 million young New Zealanders is in jeopardy.
Globally, preventable hearing loss is at a record high, and in New Zealand, our hearing screening programme in schools has continued to reveal alarming results. 21% of students screened were identified as having an abnormal screening in 2021.
As hearing loss affects social wellbeing, education, employment, and health outcomes, it is imperative students are diagnosed early to receive sufficient support and rehabilitation.
We need your help to ensure more students receive these vital screenings to diagnose undetected hearing loss early and educate them on the long term effects of unsafe listening.
Together, we can ensure young New Zealanders have the best chance of enjoying healthy hearing for life.
In 2022 our goal is to reach 42 schools.
We can't do it without you.
