Now is the time to reach out and say #ImHearForYou.

COVID-19 has affected all of our lives. It made many of us feel isolated and alone.

For the Deaf or hard of hearing coping with isolation is a daily struggle, and this has been amplified by COVID-19.

Isolation is a huge challenge, but it’s a problem that we can all help to solve just by making the effort to connect and show our support.

Say I'm Hear For You

By donating $15, you’ll be helping NFDHH to support the most vulnerable people in the Deaf and hard of hearing community by:

  • Sending out up to 5,000 care packages to those who need them.

  • Providing a helpline service and online community group to maintain a vital connection with those in need of support.

  • Offering free New Zealand Sign Language taster classes online. A great way for people to connect and learn new communication skills together.

Lily McManus:

"Let's support our most vulnerable people through this difficult time."

For the Deaf and hard of hearing, coping with isolation is often a tough and ongoing challenge. It's even tougher right now because of COVID-19. We can all do our bit to let people know they're not alone.
