About the role


The Graphic Designer role is exciting and highly creative, with a lot of variety.  This role would suit someone who is looking for their next challenge and looking to showcase their design skills. 


You will have had at least 2 years' commercial experience, or have experience working in a similar role, with a blend of marketing and digital expertise. You will need to be able to hit the ground running, be extremely self-motivated, along with being ideas-driven.  You will have the ability to connect and foster relationships with a wide range of people, including our Deaf & hard of hearing community.  


This role is permanent/part-time, working 24 hours per week over 3 days, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We are a friendly and passionate team, with our offices based in Parnell. 



To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Adobe Creative Suite experience i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Website update, migration, and management experience, preferably WIX and Wordpress

  • Advanced design skills for print and digital

  • Sound knowledge of print production processes

  • Attention to detail, as proofing all communication content is a key requirement of this role

  • Has a portfolio highlighting a broad range of marketing collateral both in print and digital

  • Can work collaboratively with the communications team to meet briefs within agreed timelines – providing advice on design style, format, print production and timelines

  • Confidently roll out designs and concepts to different platforms such as magazines, digital, website and social media

  • Can develop and manage brand guidelines for NFDHH
