About the Role

 

The Donor Relations Executive role is to manage the Foundation’s Bequest Programme, in conjunction with the Donor Relations Manager. You will also be providing administrative support to the Grants Executive.  You will be building relationships with key stakeholders & donors to gain their support through bequests.  This position reports to the Donor Relations Manager, whilst working closely with the Grants Executive.

 

This role would suit someone who has proven experience within regular giving, fundraising and/or donor relationship stewardship.  Your written, and verbal communications skills will be second to none, along with accuracy and having a high degree of integrity.  You will have the ability to connect and foster relationships. You will be extremely self-motivated and enjoy using your financial and administration skills. 

This role is permanent/part-time 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday.  We pride ourselves on being flexible, so there is the option to work from home 1 day per week or work fully from our Parnell offices.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Administration report preparation on programme activities

  • Managing and reporting on grant funding levels

  • Updating and maintaining database information

  • Administration support to Donor Relations Manager & Grants Executive

  • Collaborate with in-house Communication team on marketing and campaign collateral (social media/eDM/DM)

  • Campaign & Promotional calendar updating

  • Updating programme content (website, new video, brochure, information packs/letters)

  • Monthly report extraction from Donor database

  • Coordinate Gift in Wills programme focus group/s

  • Coordinate online & face to face bequestor events

  • Complete grant funding applications   

  • Collate & present resolutions

  • Assist with accountability reporting

  • Month-end grant reconciliations 

  • Ability to build and foster relationships with key stakeholders

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same

  • Excellent project organisational skills and ability to develop and work to a plan, while managing competing priorities

  • High level of written, and oral communication

  • Personable with the ability to relate to people from a diverse range of backgrounds

  • Sound business acumen including financial and risk analysis
