Content & Communications Executive

About the Role
The Content & Communications Executive role is exciting and highly creative, with a lot of variety. You will live and breathe social media and be an exceptional & savvy storyteller. Your written and verbal communication skills are second to none, along with your accuracy. Your core responsibility is everything “social media”, along with writing content for our Hearing Matters Magazine, our blog, eDM’s and a wide range of other communication projects. You will be an integral part of the Digital & Communications team, reporting through to the Digital & Communications Manager.
This role would suit someone who is looking for their next challenge and looking to showcase their marketing and communication skills. You will need to be able to hit the ground running, be extremely self-motivated, along with being ideas-driven. You will have the ability to connect and foster relationships with a wide range of people, including our Deaf & hard of hearing community.
This role is permanent/fulltime 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves on being flexible, so there is the option to work from home two days per week or work fully from our Parnell offices.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Minimum of 3 years experience managing social media content for a brand
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of digital and traditional marketing
Create all published content including video, overseeing design to ensure there is consistency across all channels
Exceptional copywriting expertise with proven experience across a variety of platforms e.g. social media, eDM, print and digital, blogs
Execute day-to-day activities, including research, planning and implementation and evaluation of social media activities.
Managed paid media campaigns across all social media platforms; Facebook, Instagram, eDMs/newsletters.
Proven experience in a similar role, with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
An original portfolio of writing work, which can be provided at the interview stage.
