National Foundation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing has 20 hearing aid grants of $500 each available for New Zealanders who are facing financial hardship.

Hearing Aid Fund Application Form 

Before you begin, please make sure you have the following documents:

 

  • Audiogram / letter from your Audiologist. Click here to download a free hearing assessment voucher. 

  • A quote for your new hearing aids from your Audiology Clinic.

  • Proof of New Zealand Citizenship or proof of Permanent Residency: Scanned copy of NZ Passport or Drivers Licence / Proof of Permanent NZ Residence: Scanned copy of passport showing visa or E-Visa.

  • Proof of income: either a scanned copy of your Community Services Card OR Summary of Income from IRD confirming annual income (and your partner's income, if applicable).
