AUT Community Partnership Award Scholarship for the Deaf

 

Criteria and Application Details

Amount Tuition fees of up to $3,456 per year, for up to three years
Awarded Once a year to one applicant
Purposes funded
  • To allow a student who is deaf or who has moderate to severe hearing loss attend Auckland University of Technology
  • Tuition fees for a maximum of 4 papers per semester, plus student services and student association fees

The scholarship does not cover books, material fees, NZQA, administration charges when changing programme or study or miscellaneous charges.

Eligibility criteria

Programme of study can be

  • Part-time or full-time
  • For a Certificate, Diploma or Undergraduate Degree course at AUT

Applicants must

  • Never have studied at AUT before
  • Meet course requirements in their chosen field of study
