| Purpose | For the general purpose of supporting education and development of deaf children in the province of Canterbury | |||
| Conditions | The children must be residents in the province of Canterbury for more than 12 months and not be older than 21 years | |||
| Purposes Funded |
To help deaf and hearing impaired children in the Canterbury province with education, health, employment, social and recreational activities, service provision and equipment. Requests for travel costs or for services usually provided by the state are not normally considered. |

Applicants must
Applicants must have returned an Accountability Form for any previous funding received from the NFD Trust. Failure to complete and return these forms will result in the applicant no longer being eligible for consideration for future funding from the NFT Trust. |

All applicants must fill out the official application form. Photocopies and scans of the form are acceptable. Email your completed application form to enquiries@nfd.org.nz or post it to: NFD Trust |

| Opening date for applications | 1 February | |||
| Closing date for applications | 31 March. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted | |||
| Accountability | All successful applicants are required to complete a Receipt Form, on receipt of the funds granted to them, and an Accountability Form on completion of their course or activity that the funding was for. Failure to complete and return these forms will result in the applicant no longer being eligible for consideration for future funding from the NFD Trust | |||
