| What does it cover? |
Short term projects, equipment and materials, capacity building, the development of innovative, imaginative and creative ideas, action oriented research, acquisition and dissemination of knowledge, collaboration between groups/individuals |

| Eligibility Criteria |
Individual applicants are required to be a New Zealand citizen or have permanent residency All applications are required to have returned an Accountability Form for any previous funding received from the NFD Trust. Failure to complete and return this form will result in the applicant no longer being eligible for consideration for future funding from the NFD Trust. |

All applicants must fill out the official application form. Photocopies and scans of the application form are acceptable Photocopies of the form are acceptable Email your completed applicaton form to enquiries@nfd.org.nz or post it to: NFD Trust |

| Opening date for applications | 1 February and 1 August | |||
| Closing date for applications | 31 March and 30 September. Any applications received after this date will not be accepted | |||
| Accountability | All successful applicants are required to complete and return a Receipt Form, on receipt of the funds granted to them, and an Accountability Form on completion of their course or activity that the funding was for. Failure to complete and return these forms will result in the applicant no longer being eligible for consideration for future funding from the NFD Trust | |||
