The NFD has seven member groups. Each group has a different focus. All are committed to promoting good hearing and helping those with hearing impairment.
The seven groups are

New Zealand Federation for Deaf Children
New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology
Hearing Therapists Association of New Zealand Inc
The member groups draw strength from working with each other and with the NFD. They share ideas, manage joint projects and contribute to publications about hearing issues.
