The NFD has six member groups. Each group has a different focus. All are committed to promoting good hearing and helping those with hearing impairment.
The six groups are
Hearing Association of New Zealand
New Zealand Acoustical Society
New Zealand Audiological Society
New Zealand Federation for Deaf Children
New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology
The member groups draw strength from working with each other and with the NFD. They share ideas, manage joint projects and contribute to publications about hearing issues.
