Support Our Work

The National Foundation for the Deaf is a non-profit, non-government organisation. Our work is funded by the generosity of the New Zealand public, through donations and bequests.

There are an estimated 450,000 New Zealanders affected by deafness or hearing impairment.  This makes it the largest disability group in the country.

We invite you to support us through one of the following options. (A tax deductible receipt will be issued for all donations.)

1. Donate online

Use Paypal, the secure system to donate an amount of your choice. Please have your credit card details ready.

4. Bequest giving - the ultimate gift

Bequests are an important part of the NFDs income.  No matter how large or small, bequest income is invested prudently to ensure the long term future of our hearing loss and hearing impairment projects.

If you have already made provision in your Will, please let us know, as we would like to thank you.

5. Tele-fundraising

The NFD regularly runs tele-fundraising campaigns. Should you receive a call from us, please feel confident that the call is genuine.
