Criteria and Application Details

Amount Two scholarships of $3,000
  Awarded    Each year with a tenure of one year  
         
Purposes funded To encourage hearing-impaired women students at either undergraduate or postgraduate levels
Eligibility criteria

Successful candidate must

  • Be a woman student at The University of Auckland
  • Be enrolled full-time for a second or subsequent year of an approved programme of study
  • Have a hearing disability (nature and degree of hearing loss to be confirmed in writing by a medical practitioner)

The basis of selection shall be academic merit assessed on the first year of university study.
